May, 6th 2020 – 12 pm ET
(Clayton, North Carolina) – Formally known as Thr3AndOut Radio, since 2018 the rebranding of CRN Sports Network has been quite a phenomenal success in a short time span for entrepreneurs Trey Snide & Wesley Outland.
In 2020 alone CRN will enter the 4th consecutive season as broadcast voice of the Clayton, NC Comets athletic program. Also, the radio voice of the Triangle professional basketball Raleigh Firebirds was the only team on the (TBL) The Basketball League for broadcast coverage on CRN by any team home/away. From creating special broadcast content to now the recent launch of CRN Podcasts there is now in just 3 years close to 800 hours worth. Now we are excited to indulge in the world of exciting eSports that has grown rapidly.
With a friendship dating back to 2014 the first time, they met at Daytona International Speedway in Florida for ARCA testing broadcast. There as been a mixture of communication with veteran broadcaster Wesley Outland & ARCA/NASCAR competitor Josh White. With the tough times in our Country recently by the coronavirus pandemic, Josh White took advantage of this to immediately create some type of a diversion for those to be entertained for a few hours and have fun along the way. With that, the JW Racing eSports Truck Series was created. Each event currently pays $200 winner take all plus other bonuses and contingencies along the way.
The 15 race series which includes 10 race regular events than a 5 race playoff series featuring active NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck, Xfinity and ARCA competitors debuted last Friday night at virtual Charlotte on MaxSpeedTV was a widely watched success and still bragged about one week later, with the coverage videocast it drew big numbers, now after easy negotiations we are excited to announce that the CRN Sports Network has reached an agreement with promoter Josh White and the remaining 2020 JW Racing eSports Series season will be simulcast now with audio/video coverage beginning this Friday 8 pm ET from virtual Dover Speedway with “The Wooden Vine 200”.
The event will be anchored by CRN’s Wesley Outland & Ray Richer. Richer from New York is an avid fan of the virtual eSports realm but also divulged on motorsports reality to announcing and even being an ARCA spotter in his career too. There will be the possibility of allowing other announcers to join throughout the season but Outland will remain at the lead play by play role. In addition, again all races will be broadcast still on MaxSpeedTV with the awesome production work by Michael Damico from Phoenix, Arizona in his studios. Again this is a virtual eSports endeavor with so many integral components mobile across the country.
Josh White exclaimed “I’m excited to see this happen, I never thought I’d see this series grow this fast, I’m definitely excited and interested to see where it goes. All of my drivers are excited, heading into the season I would encourage everyone to watch our broadcast on MaxSpeedTV, or listen to the Broad on CRN Sports. It’s going to be a very action-packed season with a lot of competition, a lot of emotions and tempers flaring. You have prize money on the line here, and a lot of it. The series is looking out for the race fan to make it exciting, and we’re sure going to do just that. We’ve got the best announcers and the best team, in my opinion, you can ever have. I’m very proud of what this has become and I’m sure, I will be proud of what it will be in the future. I very much appreciate CRN Sports for coming aboard and giving us the opportunity to further reach a new audience and to extend our reach for the series. Its partnerships like this, that make business or anything of the sort successful. Its a team effort, again, thank you to CRN. I’m very excited.”
CRN co-founder Trey Snide put it very short in his statement, “Extremely excited about the partnership with the Josh White Racing ESports Truck series broadcast. Two platforms, one great series”
CRN co-founder Wesley Outland will again be the lead anchor for the broadcasts was more dialogue, “It’s amazing the relationships you build in this industry, motorsports friends become honestly like family and I feel that with Josh White. From the first time I interacted with him at Daytona, there was a special twinkle in his eye to want to be somebody and do things to help others, what many don’t realize is eSports on iRacing has certainly now earned its place in the platform, not just in a few months but as many knew for years. I honestly stepped away from sim racing what it was called in 2012 just recently making a return during this pandemic because I was requested by so many like Josh White, Patrick Hahe, Brian Chrismon & Kyle Fowler to make returns doing special events and now this Series. Having its simulcast with being like MaxSpeedTV covering the television portion of the JW Racing eSports Series and CRN Sports be the MRN/PRN radio side of all of these broadcasts, with great sponsors like Symmetry Financial Group we are looking forward to this exciting endeavor, nothing will change in what CRN Sports has done and will continue this is just a new opportunity to get so many ventures more exposure like never before.”
Follow all details at Josh White Racing eSports on Facebook, CRN Sports on Facebook Twitter & Instagram, and www.crnsports.org/listenlive plus MaxSpeedTV on Facebook YouTube and www.MaxSpeedTV.com. Broadcast from virtual Dover will again be 8 pm ET this Friday, May 8th for a wild 200 lap as the truck competitors take on “Miles the Monster”.🎙🏁
